Faucets announces that it will stay open during 'firebreak' lockdown

Pontypool-based bathroom distributor Faucets has taken steps to reassure its customers that it will continue to strive for business as usual, inspite of the recent announcement by the Welsh government that Wales has been placed in a 'firebreak' lockdown from 23rd October until 9th November.

The company said that while its office-based teams are still working from the safety of their own homes, its warehouse team have been supplied with all of the necessary PPE to ensure that they can keep themselves safe, and will be continuing to work hard to provide the usual level of service.

"We will remain open during this time, ensuring we can support the industry and all of our customers in the usual manner," said managing director Darren Taylor.

"The health and wellbeing of our staff, customers and suppliers is of paramount importance. Therefore, we are regularly reviewing our protocols and systems. We hope that you are all well and rest assured we are continuously striving to support the industry in the best possible way, as we have been doing since 1983," he added.
