Fisher & Paykel has released its first freestanding range cooker with induction cooktop, which pairs a large-capacity convection oven with induction cooking hob technology. With 10 functions on the oven, including Bake, Fan Bake, Fan Forced, Fan Grill, Grill, Pastry Bake with Pizza mode, Rapid Proof for bread making, Roast, Rotisserie and True Convection, the 140L capacity oven gives users plenty of space to cook multiple dishes at once. With five cooking zones that can be combined to form SmartZones, the cooktop also offers immediate control, thanks to the simple to use dials.
Jo Jackson, product manager, Fisher & Paykel, said: “Recently, we have seen an increase in demand for induction style cooking as a result of its unrivalled accuracy, immediacy and safety features. Range cookers are consistently desirable for their versatility, with a much larger capacity than standard built-in ovens and the flexibility to cook multiple dishes at once. However, until now our customers have been unable to combine these options and so we are delighted to debut an appliance that elegantly pairs these popular appliances and delivers unparalleled versatility and results for those who love to cook.”
The pyrolytic self-cleaning oven cycle breaks down food residue, the flat glass surface is easy to clean, and acid resistant graphite enamel means that oven-cleaning is also straightforward. The hob is said to just need a gentle wipe to remove spillages and the pyrolytic self-clean oven cycle leaves only a light ash that can be removed easily with a damp cloth.
Fisher & Paykel’s freestanding range cooker with induction cooktop is available in a contemporary styling with clean lines and complementary tonal contrasts or in a classic style that combines traditional aesthetics and modern performance.
