KBB and merchant services provider, Simon Acres Group (SAGL), has embarked on a series of industry visits, designed to inform and educate their staff, with a trip to Doncaster to meet with British kitchen manufacturer Omega PLC.

The team from Simon Acres Recruitment and KBB Recruitment took part in a factory and showroom tour, and experienced the facilities of the state-of-the-art training academy, with presentations from James Bishton and Sally Hall from Omega PLC.

Simon Acres Group MD Simon Acres said: “We initiated these visits as part of a continuous improvement training plan. Our aims are to help build knowledge of kitchen furniture and terminology, which will enable our staff to understand our clients’ needs more clearly and facilitate stronger candidate conversations. Greater industry knowledge will ensure our teams are confident, competent and efficient, ensuring they can provide optimum solutions and improved customer satisfaction.

“We are grateful to Omega for giving up their time to allow us to understand more about their brand and the kitchen industry overall. We are looking forward to more visits in the future, with plans already in place with key solid surface, appliance and bathroom brands.”

Omega sales director James Bishton advised the Training Academy at Omega will host 36 group training seminars for customers throughout 2022. He said: “It was a pleasure to welcome the Simon Acres Group at the Academy to provide the team an insight into Omega Kitchen manufacture and an overview of our 70+ kitchen display showroom in South Yorkshire.”
