RAK Ceramics staff and customers raised over £44,000 during its annual Charity Golf Day on 21st July, which was donated to the manufacturer’s chosen charity, Rowans Hospice, which provides high quality end-of-life care in Southeast Hampshire.
The special day, held for the fourth time at the Kings Course of the Warwickshire Golf Club, saw RAK Ceramics colleagues and customers come together and enjoy some healthy competition, as they teed off on a course complete with sponsored holes and special awards.
With prizes up for grabs for the winner of some light-hearted competitions including Nearest to Pin and Longest Drive, the golfing fun culminated in a dinner and charity auction, featuring prizes generously donated by RAK Ceramics staff.
Commenting on the event, RAK Ceramics UK sales & marketing director Ben Bryden said: “It was a really lovely day, enjoyed by all and most importantly with a very generous amount of money raised for a very worthwhile cause. Our staff and customers enjoyed catching up, networking and a day away from the office or showroom for what turned out to be another very successful day on the green.”
Donations are still being accepted at justgiving.com/fundraising/rak-ceramicsgolfday and participants for the RAK Ceramics Charity Golf Day in 2023 can sign up for the event by emailing Victoria@tridentmarketinguk.com
