Yorkshire-based kitchen manufacturer Moores, has named Mike Barrett, pictured, as its new CEO. Barrett, who is currently group sales director at Moores, has been promoted to the role of CEO after spending the last five years leading the sales and commercial team. He will assume the role of CEO in the New Year when current CEO Steve Parkin moves into the role of company chairman.
Barrett will be building on his established track record, which has seen the business hit record sales levels this July as well as significant growth in the years pre-covid. Having played a pivotal role within the commercial team at Moores for a number of years, the company says that his close working relationships with customers and key partners makes this strategic move a natural progression for the business ensuring that key business and stakeholder relationships are maintained.
Mike Barrett said: “Our focus remains on developing partnerships within our core markets, and we will be continuing to evolve our service and product proposition to support our longer term growth plans. Our team works tirelessly to ensure we are offering our customers the very best products, constantly analysing the patterns in consumer demand and latest trend directions to develop new colourways and special features, all of which cater to contemporary lifestyles.
