The P804ICH2M37NT 80cm induction cooktop with integrated hood from Bertazzoni has received a Good Design Award in recognition of its style and functionality. The cooktop with integrated hood, designed in collaboration with Valerio Cometti Studio, was chosen in the Kitchen/Appliances category by a jury of experts charged with selecting the products that stand out most for their design quality, innovation, materials, functionality and aesthetics.
Presented by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture & Design in collaboration with the European Center for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies, the accolade follows the product's recent success in the kitchen category of the Archiproducts Design Awards. Established in Chicago in 1950, Good Design Awards are given to the most innovative products of the year and the award-winning products are permanently exhibited within the Chicago Athenaeum.
With four cooking zones, each with nine power levels plus a booster function it is equipped with multi-zone technology that allows several cooking zones to be combined into a single larger zone with the same power setting. The integrated hood, with 10 speed selections and safe automatic extraction control against leakage, has a power output of 640m3/h. Once switched on, it can automatically adjust its speed according to the power used during cooking thanks to the 'Automatic Operation' function.
