Bertazzoni wins at the Archiproducts Design Awards 2022

Bertazzoni has revealed that its new 80cm induction cooktop with integrated hood (P804ICH2M37NT) has won in the kitchen category of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2022. The awards celebrate international design excellence and the Bertazzoni 80cm induction cooktop with integrated hood has been recognised for its forward-thinking features. Created in collaboration with Milanese designer Valerio Cometti, the appliance is said to be ideal for island installations thanks to its undermount motor.

Both the cooking function and ventilation are integrated, with a hood capable of eliminating odours and fumes thanks to a power output of 640 m3/h, resulting in quiet operation, even at maximum power. The new hob with integrated ventilation is equipped with four active heating zones – each area has nine power levels with optional 'booster' function. Ten speed selections and automatic extraction control are also available.

This accolade is the latest for Bertazzoni, which prides itself on being the longest established family-owned household appliance company in the world. Speaking of award, Maurizio Severgnini, MD of Bertazzoni UK & Ireland, said: “To receive global recognition for what we love to do is just wonderful. Our ambition is to help people bring the best home-cooked food to the family table and we can only do this with the most excellent products. Whilst we hold one of the first industrial trademarks registered in Italy, we have never stopped innovating and this now award-winning hob is the perfect example of how we combine timeless style with modern technology.”
