Cheadle-based Marine Bathrooms offers free bathroom to worthy winner

Cheadle-based retailer Marine Bathrooms is offering to supply and fit a brand-new bathroom worth £7,000 for free to someone who this act of generosity could really make a difference to. Showroom owner Andrew Ryder-Davies, a former Royal Marines commando, and his business partner Luka Cubrillo, had the idea after celebrating the showroom's first year in business, and decided they would like to do something for their local community to give something back.

"We want to show our gratitude that we have made that milestone in a time which is financially difficult and very worrying for many," explains Ryder-Davies, who left the Marines in 2015 and then, after the job he was planning to go to fell through, set up a tiling business and started fitting bathrooms. "I've tasted hardship and understand that there are so many people out their suffering right now with the cost of living crisis, and we want to reach as many people in Manchester as possible to make sure we find a winner whose life this could really change. I believe that if everyone who was in a position to help someone out did, then the world would be a much better place than it is currently!"

To enter, all you have to do is contact Marine Bathrooms via its Instagram page – @marinebathroom. Then once selected, the lucky winner will be invited to the showroom for a design consultation and to start the process towards achieving their dream bathroom.
