German bathroom manufacturer Duravit has launched Vitrium, a new furniture range designed by Christian Werner.
In his latest collaboration with the bathroom brand, Werner has designed his first washbasins, which interact with console vanity units and washbasin vanity units.
Washbasins are made from DuroCast UltraResist using a mineral casting technique for the first time, while console vanity units come with a fine metal frame and a choice of fronts made from backlit glass, wood or various décor finishes.
Explaining the idea behind his new bathroom range, Werner said: “With Vitrium I sought to redefine the design of the bathroom and the associated routines. As well as the kitchen and living room, for me the bathroom is a place of comfort and refuge.
“Timelessly modern and unadorned – that’s the look I wanted for my Vitrium concept.”
The minimalistic bathroom furniture is made from PEFC*-certified wood and the range also includes rectangular and round mirrors, a mirrored cabinet that is also available as a built-in version.
Vitrium was unveiled at ISH 2023 as a series from the Duravit Artisan Lines.
