Woodstock Trading Company, the manufacturer and distributor of the Calypso Bathroom Furniture and Veldeau Bathroom Furniture brands, has appointed Alex Seaborn as its new managing director.
Formerly financial director, Alex has spent the last two years leading the finance, IT, HR and purchasing departments. Prior to that he spent six years at Forest Garden as group financial director.
Alex said: “I’m exceptionally excited for the future of Woodstock. We have all the right ingredients in the business from supportive owners, leading brands, products and service levels, a robust infrastructure, and a fantastic team of people. I’m looking forward to building on the achievements over the last 20 years, helping Woodstock to continue to grow.”
Ben Doouss, currently CEO at Woodstock Trading, will move to chairman, while Mark Doouss, currently MD, will assume the role of CEO.

Woodstock Trading is currently in the process of expanding its warehouse to double its warehousing capacity. Alongside this, the company has installed 380 solar panels, generating clean energy and saving 44t of CO2 annually, as part of its commitment to sustainability, achieving ISO 14001 accreditation in January this year.
