Franke is helping local school children stay healthy and hydrated after donating 600 water bottles to Lime Tree Primary Academy in Sale. The donation will allow the school to provide over 500 pupils and every staff member with a water bottle for September. They were also able to give them out to recent Year 6 leavers.
The donation coincides with the 10-year anniversary of Lime Tree Primary’s Forest School where children have the opportunity to attend activity sessions in the woods and farm where they play and learn forest skills. The school is keen to encourage pupils to stay hydrated during these sessions, and when taking part in other activities such as outdoor learning, sports and team building games.
The donation to Lime Tree Academy was organised by David Pearse, cluster commercial controller at Franke, which has its UK HQ in Greater Manchester close to the school. Pearse, who has a daughter who attends Lime Tree Academy, said: "We were thrilled to play a part in Lime Tree Primary Academy's 10-year Forest School anniversary with the donation of the water bottles. Supporting education and the wellbeing of young learners is a cause we are passionate about, and we were pleased to be able to contribute to such a dedicated and active school."
