2020 has undoubtedly been one of the most difficult years in recent times. But hearing the stories of resilience and strength has given us confidence to overcome the challenges that have come our way.
Steve Tough, Commercial Sales Director at Masterclass Kitchens, tells us how they have seen more customers than ever before investing in their showrooms, resulting in a surge of new showroom displays being designed and installed.
“During the height of lockdown, we unveiled our biggest ever product launch. We worked tirelessly to embrace new digital avenues and gave our independent retailers a digital showcase of our new products. It was a roaring success. As a result, we‘ve had our most successful uptake of brand-new displays being installed, featuring our latest ranges, storage solutions and colours. We are so encouraged to see that our customers have taken this opportunity to really stand out from the crowd. The investment in showroom displays will hopefully allow them to go on and prosper, while their competitors may begin to trail behind.”
Head of Design at Masterclass Kitchens, Ammanda Cosh, tells us about her top tips for designing a show-stopping display. “A kitchen display needs to be two things – beautiful and practical. You need to be able to show the product offering off in the best possible way, utilising every inch of space. I always begin with internal storage, as I want customers to see something new and exciting behind each door they open. Use internal storage from pull-out larders, integrated bins or a cocktail cabinet and begin to build your display around these key items. We are very fortunate at Masterclass Kitchens; we have the luxury of our own unique internal storage solutions that create a bespoke look – one of the most sought-after trends in recent times! Customers have gone crazy for our brand-new Crate Drawers and Wine Drawers.”
