Sink, tap and appliance manufacturer Franke is looking to nurture young talent and support the growth of women’s football by sponsoring Abigail Reid, the goalkeeper for Wycombe Wanderers FC Women’s U18s football club.
Reid joined Wycombe Wanderers for the 2023-24 season where she will compete as part of the Junior Premier League. She started her football career at the age of seven with Tilehurst Panthers in Reading and began training at the Wycombe Wanderers Girls Elite Development Centre last year.
Franke’s sponsorship covers the upcoming season's kit and membership expenses. The player’s father, Stuart Reid, has been part of the Franke team for the past five years where he is employed as a field service technician.
