Wren Kitchens, the UK’s largest kitchen retailer, has appointed Damian Sheridan as head of contract sales to drive Wren’s entry into the contracts market. The company says that this is a new role and supports its ambitions to become a significant supplier to the contracts sector. Sheridan joins with a wealth of experience and knowledge, having spent over 25 years in the contract kitchen market and has held sales director roles in the industry for the last 15 years.
Commenting on his appointment, Damian said: "Wren’s entry into the contract market is hugely exciting. Launched in 2009, Wren Kitchens is a family business that employs over 7,200 people. Operating from purpose-built manufacturing facilities in the East of England, it produces and delivers over 130,000 kitchens a year in the UK alone and has recently expanded its product range to include luxury fitted bedrooms. To accommodate continued growth, the introduction of bedrooms and more recently its commitment to the contracts sector, Wren has invested more than £200m in a brand new, state-of-the-art, 1.3m sq ft production facility, which was fully operational early 2023.
