Following last month's opening of the new Villeroy & Boch showroom in London's Business Design Centre, UK marketing manager Fabrizia D’Autilia explains what sets the brand apart, and why retailers should take the time to drop in and have a look round.

Q: Why did you choose this location for the new showroom? 
A:Our brand-new Villeroy & Boch showroom is located within the heart of the Business Design Centre. We strategically chose this venue for its prime location in central London and because it is situated near the vibrant design districts of Clerkenwell and Farringdon. The Business Design Centre is a dynamic venue that hosts several events and exhibitions throughout the year, with a focus on hospitality and design which is a focus for Villeroy & Boch.

Q: How many displays are there? 
A: Within our showroom, we have 19 captivating displays featuring a number of distinct collections, such as Finion, Antao, Collaro, Subway 3.0, taps, and Viclean. The new showroom is a fantastic opportunity for both new and existing clients to explore our products and discover the latest offerings from Villeroy & Boch. 

Q: How did you decide on the styles of the displays and which products to showcase? 
A: We believe that we have created displays which embody timelessness, quality and elegance with a notable emphasis on nature across a number of our displays. The showcased products span across a variety of segments within Villeroy & Boch’s Bathroom & Wellness sector, catering to the requirements of various clients, including project managers, interior designers, and retailers. Showcasing a wide range of products ensures that our displays resonate with a wide range of preferences and needs.

Q: In your view, is there anything different about this showroom compared to other bathroom showrooms? 
A: The Villeroy & Boch showroom space has been divided to be able to showcase both the Bathroom and Wellness as well as Dining & Lifestyle offerings. To add further value to clients, the new showroom will also be a space which can be used to host commercial, technical and individual training sessions for architects, designers and developers.

Q: Why should bathroom retailers visit?
A: The showroom provides a dedicated space for existing and new clients to learn about the latest products and designs from both the Bathroom & Wellness and Dining & Lifestyle sectors of the business. The new showroom will stage a range of Bathroom & Wellness collections including Finion, the nature-inspired Antao, the colourful Artis, the innovative Twistflush and the sleek and modern Architectura.

Q: In your view, what sets Villeroy & Boch apart and why should designers consider them for their projects?
A: Villeroy & Boch has been a trusted, recognisable family brand for 275 years. The company has a long history of providing high-quality, luxury products and has a large offering to meet the needs of any designer.
