German kitchen furniture manufacturer Rotpunkt has appointed John McWhinnie as sales manager covering the north of England.
John joined the UK team in January 2024 as part of the company’s national strategy to serve its network of Rotpunkt retailers and more specifically, northern sales territories, covering the M62 north into Scotland.
He brings over 37 years of industry experience to his role, having previously worked at companies including Nolte UK, Häcker Kitchens based in Dubai and SieMatic.
John said: “The kitchen industry is not just a profession for me; it's a lifelong passion beginning as an apprentice joiner to evolving roles in sales, design, installation, and project management. Over the years, I've amassed a wealth of knowledge that extends beyond personal projects. I am dedicated to sharing my insights and expertise, guiding and training others to excel in the dynamic kitchen industry. Now, I am fortunate to be assisting others in their own business journey with Rotpunkt so that they can stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovations. I am really excited to get out there and help retailers in the north take their businesses to the next level. I believe that sharing ideas, staying up to date on emerging trends, and collaborating with like-minded professionals can and will benefit everyone in the Rotpunkt family – from homeowner to design studio and luxury specifier.”
