Bette has added a new matt black colourway to its product portfolio in what it says is a response to consumer demand for darker tones in the bathroom. The bold new Ebony shade will be available across 18 of the brand's freestanding baths, including the BetteLex, BetteStarlet and BetteArt collections.
Bette's baths are made from glazed titanium steel, with a glass-hard surface that is said to make it difficult for dirt and bacteria to adhere to. The company says that the new matt black surface will be durable and easy to maintain, and that it will also not be affected by cleaning chemicals, or even the naked flame or hot wax of a candle.
