HIMACS blends aesthetics and inclusivity with latest basin launches

HIMACS has announced the launch of 5 new undermounted basins that offer creative solutions for bathroom planners, specifiers and architects, including 2 for inclusive design. The new basins include HIMACS PRM models that answer the demand for inclusive designs, combining style with practicality, aimed at users with reduced mobility as well as multigenerational households.

The new HIMACS CB4628 basin is part of the PRM series along with the new CB5530 model. Both feature a shallow basin with a design that allows wheelchair users to get extra close. “We are extremely proud to be adding 5 new undermounted basins to our solid surface collection,” said Tim Lie, product manager at HIMACS. “The addition of 2 models created for persons with reduced mobility will allow planners and architects to create bathroom spaces that answer the need for inclusive design without sacrificing style.”

The new basins also include the CB452, as well as unique models CB4430 and CB4530, which come with a solid surface valve designed to be flush-fitted with the bottom of the basin. As well as its aesthetic qualities, HIMACS is resistant to bacteria, viruses and chemicals due to its scratch-proof, non-porous surface that prevents dirt, germs and bacteria getting in.

HIMACS is also hardwearing, easy to clean and durable as well as resistant to wear and tear, scratches, stains and UV light. Its non-porous surface makes it quick and easy to clean while its thermoformable properties also allow it to be moulded into any shape and size. The absence of visible seams ensures a flawless finish that prevents dirt, bacteria and viruses building up on the surface.
