NKBA | KBIS Global Connect has welcomed 23 new members from 9 countries to the international business development programme over the past few months, bringing total membership to nearly 70. Manufacturers, distributors and service providers related to all aspects of kitchen and bathroom design and remodeling recently joined the programme from the UK, Brazil, Cambodia, China, India, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and Turkey. Their membership provides opportunities to explore the North American market, build business strategies after learning how best to enter the market, and even expand with a custom business development plan.
The North American K&B market represents an interesting area of growth, especially for international companies that might be experiencing challenging economies at home. While the US residential business is experiencing spotty demand, the industry is still poised for expansion. On a broader level, the American economy is the largest and most robust in the world, and has shown the strongest recovery since the pandemic. It is twice the size of the European Zone and leads the world in GDP.
Some of the companies recently joining the Global Connect programme include Falmec Italian ventilation hoods and extractors; Italiana Ferramento Srl cabinetry accessories and fittings; Officine Gullo luxury kitchens handcrafted in Florence, Italy; Coverlam by Grespania porcelain stone, and Crofts & Assinder cabinetry hardware from the UK.
The Global Connect programme offers important benefits to international companies that want to explore ways to break into the North American market. Included in the core membership, is access to NKBA | KBIS’ extensive market research. Members also are introduced to expert consultants through the team of Global Connect Advisors on design, distribution, compliance and finance and business strategy.
As Global Connect Members, brands interested in participating at KBIS receive several benefits including opportunities to participate in Global Connect Lounge programming, a fully packaged kiosk program and promotional support as well as the NKBA member discount on floor space and the opportunity to join the VIP Delegation Programme. Additional benefits and opportunities for brand development are also available.
