Shower enclosure manufacturer Merlyn has launched its Step up to Breast Cancer campaign, rallying the team at its Kilkenny HQ to get behind the initiative.
The campaign is calling on KBB industry colleagues, partners, and supporters to help raise money for the Pink Ribbon Foundation by getting sponsorship to take as many steps as they can throughout October. Every step taken by participants will contribute to funding the vital work of the Pink Ribbon Foundation in supporting breast cancer charities and promoting breast health awareness.
Eileen Slattery, marketing director at Merlyn, said: "We are incredibly proud of the funds raised so far for the Pink Ribbon Foundation, but this year we’re aiming even higher. Our Step Up to Breast Cancer campaign is a fantastic way to not only raise much-needed funds but also to promote health and wellness across our industry. We encourage everyone in the KBB sector to get involved and take as many steps as they can."
As part of its partnership with the Pink Ribbon Foundation, Merlyn continues to raise awareness about the importance of breast self-checks, emphasising that the shower is an ideal place to incorporate this health routine. The company donates £25 from the sale of every Arysto X shower enclosure to the Foundation, directly contributing to breast cancer research and support services. Since 2019, £55,000 has been raised.
