Grohe has revealed that it has introduced new technologies to its Rainshower SmartActive hand shower to increase its user friendliness, make it more water efficient and also aid quick installation.
The hand shower has been equipped with SmartTip control, which enables the user to simply place a fingertip on the rear of the hand shower to intuitively switch between three spray modes. In the centre of the shower head, round and star-shaped jets provide a powerful ActiveMassage spray. Meanwhile, the Jet spray is a more invigorating experience to give the body a new sense of energy, while also intended for rinsing shampoo thoroughly and quickly too. However, if a gentler, softer water pressure is preferred, the circular arranged nozzles mimic a gentle rain shower.
Grohe has also integrated its DripStop feature into the new hand shower design. With 69% of Brits admitting that having a shower that doesn’t drip after use is important to them, the new technology helps to minimise dripping and unnecessary water wastage.
The installation process of the Rainshower SmartActive, which can be paired with a matching shower rail with a diameter of just 22mm, has also been enhanced. With an adjustable glider, Grohe’s QuickFix system which allows the upper and lower wall brackets to be adjusted to existing drill holes, and Grohe’s TileFix technology, which sees tile levelling discs become a thing of the past, the brand says that install time can be significantly reduced for installers.
