Tile Mountain Group has announced another record breaking year, with sales increasing by more than 27% in 2024 compared to the previous year. The Group credited growth across all areas of the business, with Bathroom Mountain emerging as the standout performer, supported by a fast-expanding product range across heating, furniture and accessories.

Looking ahead, Tile Mountain Group is forecasting revenues of £150 - 160million in 2025, underpinned by continued investment in its showroom network, digital platforms, product development and customer service.

MD Jeremy Harris said: “2024 was another year of strong growth for Tile Mountain Group, and we’re especially pleased with the momentum at Bathroom Mountain. Our strategy is focused on offering customers value and choice across tiles, bathrooms and wall finishes, while investing in showrooms that go beyond retail. We want visiting a Tile Mountain Group showroom to feel like a destination, with thousands of ranges on display, refreshments, a dedicated kids’ zone, and free parking; enabling customers can take their time, be inspired, and enjoy the process of planning their projects.”

The Group’s omni-channel model continues to fuel growth, with its online platforms complemented by a rapidly expanding showroom estate. The business currently operates from 14 locations, and has an ambitious showroom opening programme, having identified 50 additional locations. The showrooms play a pivotal role in the customer journey, often leading to larger baskets and higher average transaction values. This integrated approach is supported by a broadened product mix and continued expansion across both tiles and bathrooms.

Harris added: “The way customers shop for home improvement products is changing, and we’re proud to be shaping that shift. People still want the ease and convenience of online browsing, but they also value expert advice and the chance to experience products first-hand. That’s why our combined tile and bathroom showrooms are proving so powerful. Beyond the sales channels, what excites us most is the breadth of categories we’re now able to offer, from minimalist large-format tiles and innovative wall panelling through to our growing bathroom ranges. This allows us to meet the needs of homeowners, tradespeople and designers alike. With strong foundations in place, our ambition for the years ahead is simple: to continue expanding, innovating and investing so we remain the first choice for customers tackling projects of every size”

During the period, Tile Mountain Group invested over £25m in building and automating warehouse capacity and since the year-end has invested further in automation and expansion to support scale and service. The Group also highlights investment in the former Johnson Tiles site in Stoke-on-Trent to further secure long-term distribution capacity. These commitments underpin the store roll-out and support job creation across retail and logistics in the UK.
