Rotpunkt Küchen achieved record sales and increased turnover in 2025
German furniture manufacturer Rotpunkt achieved record sales in 2025 and reported a 6.25% increase in turnover for the last financial year, reaching a new high of €103.7million.
Sven Herden, MD sales & marketing at Rotpunkt Küchen, said: “Despite business in 2025 being a year marked by consumer restraint, weak levels of new construction, and international tensions, we’re pleased to report a rise in sales growth for Rotpunkt Küchen, as our manufacturing facilities in Bünde/Westphalia increased its revenue by 6.25%. Driven by a further rise in the average value per kitchen order, we can also report a growth of 2.3% in volume for 2025, which has helped to fuel expansion into new markets.”
All 2025 sales figures relate to Rotpunkt furniture and fittings for the kitchen, utility room/laundry, dressing room, and bathroom, with the main sales driver stemming from the company’s ongoing strategy to serve the whole-home and be more than kitchens. Rotpunkt identifies the export market as a strong catalyst for progress moving forward, and this growth will support the company’s ongoing investment in the domestic market, an area of growing importance for generating new sales.
When looking at the domestic sales and exports market, the company experienced positive results with growth in Germany, and significant gains in the Netherlands. In fact, the company’s export quota remains stable at 80% and this has welcomed a slight growth in the UK, with France enjoying significant increases in order intake. Results for Rotpunkt in the Scandinavian market is up overall, with primary markets including Denmark and Norway, and Denmark holding the majority share. Lastly, the Austrian market is showing huge potential for growth and is now back on track following a solid market entry and temporary downturn.
Rotpunkt Küchen has also strengthened company activities throughout the Middle East and Asia, with a growing number of trading partners aligned with the brand. In the Middle East, the company says business operations have expanded significantly in co-operation with local partners and today, is becoming an increasingly important source of revenue with further projects are in the pipeline.
Modernisation will also strengthen the future viability of Rotpunkt. Even though expectations were not met in some areas, the targeted sales figure of ‘100 million euros plus X’ was achieved and is a clear indication of Rotpunkt's ongoing investment to modernise its manufacturing facilities and product offer over the last 2 years. Helping to reinforce the brand as a high-performance furniture partner to specialist retailers, Rotpunkt has invested around €50million in a new logistics hub, new machinery, and the digitalisation of all areas of the business at its Bünde site since 2023.
The financial forecast for 2026 is realistic, with projections set to achieve the same figure of ‘110 million euros plus X‘ across core markets. Sven Herden said: “Market conditions are still not a sure-fire success,” however he believes, this doesn’t mean the market will stagnate. “Of course, the number of new builds could be higher, and that would make many things easier, but market conditions have never been part of our wish list. Instead, we are accepting the situation and, together with our partners in the specialist trade and with the strengths typical of Rotpunkt Küchen, such as variety and differentiation potential, we are continuing to develop successfully.”
