Cosentino has announced the launch of Sunlit Days – the first carbon neutral collection in the quartz surfaces and engineered stone market.
Demonstrating the brand’s commitment to sustainable surfaces, Cosentino says it is dedicated to offsetting the CO² emissions of the entire life cycle of the Silestone Sunlit Days series. This has been achieved by Cosentino calculating its carbon footprint, reducing impact and offsetting its emissions by continually participating in voluntary offsetting projects, which are duly certified and in the framework of the Voluntary Carbon Market. The initiative is also complemented by a partnership programme for the preservation of the seabed.
Sunlit Days is a collection of five colours inspired by the Mediterranean, nature and colour. The colours in the range include Faro White, Cincel Grey, Arcilla Red, Cala Blue and Posidonia Green. Pictured is Arcilla Red, an earthy shade that promotes warmth and cosiness.
