TKC has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of a new group operations director. In his new role, logistics professional Neil Munro will play a key role in supporting operational excellence across the business, as it continues to grow and meet strong customer demand.
Munro joins TKC with vast sector experience, most recently spending 15 years with Howdens where he held a variety of board level roles responsible for warehousing, logistics and the supply chain.
The appointment comes at a pivotal time as TKC has experienced strong sales for the first half of 2021 across both its components and Jigsaw complete kitchens businesses. The company has already implemented several operational improvements programmes in stock, capacity and service.
Speaking of his appointment, Neil said: “I am delighted to be joining such an enthusiastic team who are so committed to serving their customers well. The business is expanding rapidly, and I’m excited to be part of their growth. I’m confident that my industry expertise and experience will help us meet the dual challenges of increased customer demand and ensuring service excellence. Customers want deliveries that are on time, in full, with no damage to make sure their projects run smoothly and this is my number-one priority.”
Roy Saunders, CEO at TKC, said: “Neil joins us from one of the industry’s best known and most successful companies and I am confident that his vast expertise and track record is going to be invaluable in shaping our business for the future and in ensuring our service capabilities meet market demand."
