KUBE opens first UK kitchen showroom in Chester with fresh retail concept
New-concept kitchen brand KUBE has announced it will open its first UK showroom in Chester. Offering a range of German-engineered kitchens, it aims to disrupt the UK kitchen market by offering high-quality design and manufacture at low prices.
The core value proposition is underpinned by nobilia-Werke J. Stickling GmbH & Co KG, Europe’s largest kitchen manufacturer. It enables KUBE to access high-volume, precision German production and established supply chain infrastructure. The result is the market-unique ability to offer high-end quality and low-end prices.
Situated on Hartford Way near Sealand Retail Park in Chester, the flagship showroom has been designed as a scalable retail format intended to support future rollout. The space showcases a tightly curated range of contemporary kitchen displays, focusing on modular design, simplified specification and streamlined purchasing to reduce friction in the customer journey and increase conversion rates. It also makes use of immersive visual tools to support customer decision-making and reduce design revisions, a feature that the company expects to improve sales efficiency while supporting customer satisfaction.
Kate Duckworth, head of brand marketing at KUBE, said: “KUBE is here to reimagine the UK kitchen market. We make buying kitchens easy, transparent and affordable while creating new opportunities and generating UK jobs as we grow. Our model has been designed as an antidote to complex pricing and fragmented supply chains. We asked ourselves – what if buying a quality kitchen at a great price could be straightforward?”
“KUBE is our answer. With the support of nobilia, we’re able to manufacture products that exceed quality expectations and yet undercut price expectations. To the consumer, it’s the ultimate kitchen hack, but to us, it’s a long-term, sustainable model. Our intent is that through this first Chester showroom, and our growing online presence, customers will quickly realise what strong retail proposition we have.”
KUBE’s retail proposition centres on a fixed “All This For” pricing structure, with every listed price including cabinets, appliances, worktops, a sink and tap, to deliberately eliminate promotion cycles and discount-led selling. Unlike many competitors, finance options are available across the entire product range rather than restricted to selected lines, broadening accessibility and supporting average order values, while it also offers consumers sustainability schemes to rehome and recycle old kitchens in order to minimise landfill wastage.
In addition to kitchens, KUBE is expanding its offer to fitted bedrooms and bathrooms, and living furniture, positioning the brand as a whole-home storage and interiors destination. The Chester launch marks the first step in KUBE’s UK growth strategy, with further locations anticipated as the brand establishes its retail footprint and refines its scalable showroom model.
