Daval shortlisted for Sustainability at Business Masters Awards 2021

Kitchen manufacturer Daval has revealed it has been shortlisted at the 11th Yorkshire Business Masters Awards, and is one of four finalists in the running to win the award for Sustainability.

In association with TheBusinessDesk.com, the 2021 Business Masters Awards celebrates the best Yorkshire has to offer with categories for all business types and a total of 13 prizes, all independently judged and scheduled to be presented to the winners at the landmark Queens Hotel in Leeds on 14th October 2021.

Simon Bodsworth, MD for Daval Furniture, pictured, said: “I strongly believe that you make your own luck in business, and ethical investments and supporting your local community are fundamental factors. As we adjust to changes following Brexit and look to support British manufacturing by adopting more sustainable strategies across the built environment, we are pleased to be able to offer a retail package that is efficient, high quality and sustainable with a highly desirable ‘signature style’ that considers the individual, home architecture and planet in one. This award nomination is yet another step forward for our 100% recycled collection Renzo.”

Ben Ormsby, Yorkshire Editor at TheBusinessDesk.com, said: “We were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of entries for this year’s awards, with many demonstrating resilience and forward thinking in the face of the challenges brought about by the pandemic. We were particularly excited by the quality of entries into our two new categories of Disruptor and Sustainability, which really highlighted some of the amazing work being undertaken in Yorkshire.”
