Grant Westfield introduces Installer Training programme

Grant Westfield has launched its new online Installer Training programme, giving installers access to practical, on-demand training designed to build product knowledge, develop fitting skills and help achieve a professional finish first time.

The Core Installer Training comprises 15 short videos covering the complete installation journey, from pre-installation preparation, profiles, trims and accessories to tips and tricks and the general installation process. The programme also addresses real-world fitting scenarios including baths, shower cubicles, niches, windows and doors, as well as Hydrolock, Naturepanel, flooring and maintenance.

The Training Platform also includes training videos for partners, homeowners and internal staff as well as the A&D and specification community, which can be accessed via personalised dashboards to ensure people are viewing the most relevant content. The short, easy-to-follow modules can be completed at the installer’s own pace or revisited as a refresher when needed.

Importantly, this isn’t a one-off initiative; we’ll continue to develop the programme with new guidance and training to support installers over the long term.”

Installers completing the core programme will receive an Installer Training Certificate, with Grant Westfield and Installer Elite loyalty points awarded to eligible participants. Installers will also be signposted to Grant Westfield’s Find an Installer search tool, which they can sign up to through a simple form. This provides free advertising for installers across the Grant Westfield, Multipanel and Naturepanel websites.

Installers who are already using the Installer Elite will be able to access the programme through a single sign-on process, while other users can register via a straightforward sign-up form. All users have access to a media tab that features brochures, installation guides and an informative video showcasing Grant Westfield’s factory and manufacturing processes.
