German bathroom manufacturer Duravit has scooped three iF Design Awards for 2022, with two complete bathroom series White Tulip and D-Neo, the faucets of the D-Neo bathroom series, and the News Magazine #13 by Duravit all honoured by the internationally renowned design prize.
The White Tulip range was created by Philippe Starck, and features bathtubs, washbasins, furniture, toilets and bidets, as well as matching mirrors and a complete collection of faucets. The form of all the components within the series echoes the organic silhouette of a tulip in bloom, and the monolithic, freestanding ceramic washbasin is particularly eye-catching.
In March 2021 Duravit first unveiled the D-Neo range by Belgian designer Bertrand Lejoly. The D-Neo complete bathroom range stands out with its straight-lined and geometric forms, with the D-Neo faucets also boasting a straightlined and geometric design. The characteristically narrow, vertically positioned handle is standard throughout the entire range.
The Duravit News Magazine was also honoured with the award – around 100,000 copies are printed every year, giving dealers and end customers in over 40 countries the opportunity to immerse themselves in Duravit’s latest bathrooms.
