The Novy Pureline PRO Intuitive Ceiling Hood and the Novy Phantom 130cm Recirculation Island Hood have both been recognised with an IF Design Award 2022. This is the second major international award for the Novy Phantom during 2022, the first being a Red Dot: Product Design, which was announced in April.
The German IF Design Awards were originally established in 1953 with a seal to signify good design for consumers and the design community. Today, they have become a global symbol of excellent design and are adjudicated by a jury of 132 international design experts from over 20 countries.
The Novy Pureline PRO, pictured here, has a full perimeter LED light strip integrated along the edge. Users can operate it via the Novy Connect app, a Novy InTouch induction hob, or remote control, with Novy Sense technology automatically regulating extraction speeds. The hood can be ducted to the exterior or used in the recirculation mode, and thanks to click and fix, it is said to be easy to install.
The Novy Phantom 130cm Recirculation Island Hood, which also comes in a cabled or framed version, uses black metal with tinted translucent glass and internal lighting. The hood is easy to install with a choice of a frame for an industrial look or height-adjustable steel cables for a floating effect. The high-efficiency recirculation system ensures optimum energy efficiency, and it is easy to operate via the Novy Connect app, a Novy InTouch induction hob, or by remote control.
