Trade kitchen supplier Howdens has announced the winner of its £60,000 campervan star prize. The Howdens Spin the Rooster promotion was live between 11th July and 15th August, with Dominic Haynes of DH Handyman Services winning the ultimate prize.
To be in with a chance of winning, Howdens’ trade customers had to spend £100 or more (excluding VAT) on doors. Qualifying customers could then Spin the Rooster online to be in with a chance of winning. There were over 8,000 prizes on offer including Weber BBQs, Ring Video Doorbells, Ray-Ban Sunglasses, Family Adventure Day Out Vouchers, tools, and various food and drink vouchers, with the star prize of a VW campervan worth £60,000.
Winner of the competition, Dominic Haynes, DH Handyman Services, pictured on the right, was thrilled with his win: “I was shaking when it said I had won, I can't believe it's happened and haven't slept for a week! We're off on our holiday with our gorgeous new camper for a trip that we will all remember. A massive thank you to Howdens for all the memories to come!”
Matthew McKittrick, depot manager, Howdens Bamber Bridge, pictured left, added: “I couldn’t believe it was one of our account holders that won the star prize! Everyone in the depot was so excited for Dom – you’d have thought it was one of the team that had won it! I’m over the moon for Dom and his family, and I hope they have some amazing trips away in their new campervan.”
