BC Designs has invested £250,000 into its manufacturing and storage facilities to improve lead times of its products ahead of 2023.
The investment is expected to increase productivity and output in the factories by more than 40% through increasing employee numbers and storage of raw material.
The company, which has seen a 35% increase in demand for its products over the last year, will also benefit from a new warehouse, doubling the size of its storage facility and shortening lead times by over half.
Darren Allison, MD at BC Designs, said: “The industry as a whole is in desperate need of shorter lead times, and our investment will mean we are able to better service this demand. It is just one area we’re looking to invest in, along with further on-trend products and our commitment to moving towards being carbon neutral. 2023 is shaping up to be our best year yet.”
