Cavalier Marketing assets acquired by Aquadart Bathrooms

Certain trade and assets of Cavalier Marketing Ltd have, as of 7th March 2023, been acquired by Keighley-based Aquadart Bathrooms Ltd in a transaction handled by business rescue and recovery specialist Leonard Curtis. Previously, Aquadart was a brand within Cavalier Marketing's Cavalier Bathrooms portfolio, which also includes Elation, April Products, Tre Mercati and Niagara.

On the completion of the deal, Will Hinks, general manager of Aquadart Bathrooms, said: “Aquadart Bathrooms has acquired all the brands and trademarks of Cavalier and will continue to supply the key product lines that are currently offered to the UK bathroom market. All of Cavalier Marketing’s 150 employees have transferred to Aquadart Bathrooms as part of the acquisition and our intention is to maintain all current business operations, including both our manufactured and imported product ranges.”

He continued: “Cavalier was experiencing difficulties in the last few months due to adverse market conditions and a few poor management decisions last year, but this change is an opportunity for us to offer customers even better service. Our objectives going forward are to make Aquadart Bathrooms a supplier which is easy to deal with, open and honest in its communications and a reliable provider of great products, promptly delivered.”

According to a press statement issued by Leonard Curtis, "a number of prominent individuals in the sector currently working for Cavalier will join the senior leadership team Aquadart in what is being described as a real boost for the firm".

Hilary Pascoe from Leonard Curtis, who was appointed to handle the transaction, said it was a positive outcome for all parties. “The sale of the trade and assets of Cavalier after a tricky trading period is a great result, ensuring continued employment for 150 people in a solid, well-respected business.”

Hinks added: “Customers tell us time and again that they want to do business with us and that our products are excellent value for money. I would like to thank them for their loyal support over the years. We will continue to develop our valued, long-term relationships with them. We welcome the Cavalier team into the business and look forward to building a company together to be proud of.”
