Acquabella's Robert Heredia to raise funds for Autism NI

On 12th December Robert Heredia, UK sales manager for Acquabella, is set to walk for 24 hours on a treadmill in a bid to reach his £10,000 fundraising target. Robert is hoping to walk more than 80 miles – the equivalent of walking from Belfast to Enniskillen – with all proceeds to go to Autism NI based in Belfast, which is Northern Ireland’s main autism charity.

Formed in 1990 the charity supports a network of local support groups across NI providing free advice and information, an advice line service, support for parents/carers, early intervention and a wide range of training courses throughout Northern Ireland. The charity is a parent-led partnership organisation formed to promote positive collaboration between parents, professionals and autistic individuals, and address the need for appropriate services.

Robert said: “If I said I am looking forward to walking for 24 hours I think that may sound strange but I am happy because I know every step I take will bring me nearer my ambitious £10,000 goal, and is in loving memory of my mum Vic Ventura. I have supported this wonderful organisation for many years. Please help if you can, there can be nothing in the world that can make me move more than the smile of those children – they will give me the strength”.
