IDS has organised the supply of flooring, worktops and splashbacks to help a charity that supports men experiencing homelessness create a brand-new kitchen.
Recycling Lives operates a residential facility in Preston, which provides a stable and supportive environment for homeless men to develop skills and confidence. The charity wanted to install a high-quality new kitchen that would form a hub for residents to cook and socialise, and which would make staying home more enjoyable.
After being approached to get involved, IDS was able to supply the charity with 15sq m of its Vali Malmo luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring to provide a durable flooring solution that would perform well in the 10-bedroom complex. In conjunction with its longstanding worktop partner, Bushboard, it was also able to provide Omega Natural Blocked Oak worktops and splashbacks for the communal kitchen area. Jewson Partnership Solutions provided the fixtures and fittings and Onward Homes installed the kitchen.
