Bette showcases 'installation breakthrough' at InstallerSHOW

Bette says it is demonstrating its 'breakthrough' in shower tray installation, which makes it easier and faster, and works with shower trays of all sizes, at the InstallerSHOW this week. The company says the new system revolutionises the process of mounting, levelling, and adjusting the shower tray to the desired height.

Installers have the opportunity to see and try the new BetteLevel shower tray installation system on the Bette stand A40 at the InstallerSHOW at the NEC Birmingham. Also on show will be Bette’s easy-to-install BetteAir shower tray and its invisible anti-slip finish for shower trays and baths, BetteAnti-Slip Sense.

The new BetteLevel self-locking foot system has unique, self-locking, telescopic feet that are simply glued to the shower tray. The shower tray is then raised to the desired height and the feet lock in place automatically. If any adjustment is required, the lock can be released by lifting the shower tray, and the process repeated to lock the feet at the correct height. Once level and at the correct height, the waste can be installed, and the tiling can be done.

The BetteLevel was developed in conjunction with installers who found the new system made shower tray installation and adjustment significantly simpler and faster, with fewer materials and tools required. BetteLevel is suitable for all installation situations, including construction sites, with options including permanently lockable feet to avoid unintentional adjustment. It is ideal for use with shower trays made of glazed titanium steel, as the material is extremely strong and stable and provides a good adhesive connection. BetteLevel is suitable for all sizes and designs of shower tray, so installers will always have the right product to hand and can keep additional feet in their vehicles in reserve.

Also on show is the BetteAir easy to install, flush-to-floor shower tray, which can simply be glued to the screed like a conventional tile. Visitors to the InstallerSHOW can also see one of Bette’s virtually invisible slip-resistant surfaces – BetteAnti-Slip Sense for its baths and shower trays in glossy white. BetteAnti-Slip Sense provides the highest level of slip protection (in accordance with evaluation group C of DIN 51097).

The InstallerSHOW is taking place in Hall 5 at the NEC Birmingham from 27th-29th June 2023.
