The annual BMA Industry Conference, taking place this year on October 9th and 10th at the Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire, will tackle the increasingly important theme of 'resilience' this year.
The Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) intends this year’s conference to equip attendees with the tools, insights, and mindset required to navigate ever-changing market conditions and challenges the sector faces. The association says that to achieve sustainable growth and success, it is imperative for businesses within the bathroom manufacturing industry to foster resilience.
The opening speaker for the conference on October 10th will be Bonita Norris, one of the UK's leading adventurers and an embodiment of resilience. In 2010, Bonita became the youngest British woman to summit Mount Everest. In 2012, she achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first British woman to reach the summit of Mount Lhotse.
Norris will share her insights on achieving a resilient mindset during her opening address. Her remarkable achievements and ability to conquer challenges resonate deeply with individuals seeking to unlock their potential. Bonita's captivating presentation will equip conference attendees with the necessary tools to cultivate resilience within their lives and businesses.
Tom Reynolds, CEO of the BMA, emphasises the significance of resilience in the current market climate: "With the cost-of-living crisis and the economic landscape posing formidable challenges, bathroom manufacturers need to adopt a resilient mindset. Resilience empowers businesses to withstand shocks, adapt to changing circumstances, and ultimately thrive. Our annual conference will provide invaluable insights into developing and nurturing this resilience, enabling industry professionals to drive growth and success."
