Fisher & Paykel has appointed Stephen Tipper as its newest builder developer manager in the UK. In his role, Stephen will be working closely with builders and developers across the UK, specifically targeting the luxury development market. He will also be introducing and demonstrating the full range of appliances that Fisher & Paykel has on offer. Further, building long term relationships with new clients will be key in Stephen’s new role, primarily due to the timeframes involved in some of these projects.
Prior to his appointment, Stephen worked for eight years at Terence Ball Kitchens where he was promoted to director and head of design. During this time, he managed the design and implementation of bespoke projects across the UK, to end users as well as luxury developers. He soon acquired a flair for bespoke furniture design and specification.
Stephen’s background was in the sustainable heat and power industry where he carried out design, technical sales and project management; specifically, working on commercial and large-scale agricultural projects to deliver renewable district heating solutions. This provided a key insight into what is involved in technical sales and large project deployment. Similarly, he developed a strong understanding and passion for sustainability, aligning with Fisher & Paykel’s ethos.
Mark Young, sales director at Fisher & Paykel, said: “We are pleased to welcome Stephen at such an transformative time for Fisher & Paykel in the UK. He brings a huge wealth of experience across the luxury development market to the role and will be a great asset to the team.”
