Hettich LightTower gains transparent advantage at KBB Birmingham 2024

With the addition of glass drawer sides and fronts, Hettich says it has taken LightTower into a new realm of design opportunity, which it unveiled to customers at KBB Birmingham 2024.

LightTower by Hettich, the illuminated tower unit larder storage concept launched last year, now offers both solid and glass-sided drawer options along with hassle-free, no connection illumination, based on the exceptional AvanTech YOU platform.

For new kitchens and retrofit, LightTower comprises 5 pre-assembled drawer boxes, with runners and internal fronts, and a choice of 5 widths up to 1200mm.

Each drawer is illuminated automatically when opened. Delivery of the even, 4,000K light requires no complicated connections. A practical rechargeable battery pack adheres to the rear panel.

Smooth, effortless drawer opening and closing is assured thanks to high-quality 30kg runners, and installation is said to be easy. LightTower comes with a jig to help mark up the cabinet for fitting the runners with precision. Hinges are an additional option where existing hinges do not provide the zero protrusion required for the drawers to slide open.
