As we look forward to the UK's largest gathering of the world's best kitchen, bedroom and bathroom brands, Sally Smith finds out what some of the kitchen suppliers will be showcasing at the event, which is scheduled to take place from 3rd - 6th March at the NEC Birmingham.

With over 320 plus exhibitors and over 15,000 visitors expected including retailers, suppliers and buying professionals across the KBB sector, it is set to be an exciting and productive 4 days at the NEC Birmingham.

"We can’t wait to welcome visitors to this year’s show to discover what’s new in the kitchen sector," explains sales director of the show Jon Johnston. "We have a huge range of fantastic kitchen brands exhibiting again this year, including big-name international brands that we are welcoming back to the show that will be showcasing their very latest collections and innovative new products."

1. On stand J75 Novy will be showcasing a host of its innovative appliances alongside Aga and La Cornue, including the Panorama Collection of vented downdraft induction hobs and ultra-quiet recirculation hoods that feature the industrial style Pureline Frame and the award-winning Phantom Pendant Hood. In addition, products from its touch-free, gesture-controlled Designer Lighting Collection, pictured, will be demonstrated on the stand.


2. For the first time to a UK audience, Bora will present the BORA refrigeration and freezing systems on Stand K90, featuring innovative convection cooling, separate cooling circuits, No Frost Technology and BORA Fresh Zero. Cooling temperatures are kept optimally stable. There will be live cookery demonstrations using the full range of cooktop extraction alongside the BORA X BO steam oven with integrated odour filtration tantalising the taste buds of all who visit.


3. In Hall 19 on Stand J70 Franke will showcase some brand new additions making their UK debut across its appliance, sinks, taps, hoods and waste management categories. A key highlight will be appliances from the Mythos Black Line collection, pictured, including ovens, hobs, warming drawers, coffee machines and wine coolers.


4. On Stand J98, LochAnna Kitchens will be launching its new product range, the Newbridge Collection in Brigade, pictured, and Taupe, extending the brand’s collection of quality kitchen furniture and accessories. The stand will also feature a range of their contemporary kitchen configurations including a main hero kitchen, utility room, boot room and a drinks preparation station.


5. On Stand P84, MHK-UK’s interactive space will explore the theme of 'Making the Difference', showcasing the extraordinary benefits of MHK membership for independent kitchen retailers and its 40 years of expertise as Europe’s leading buying group in home and living. Visitors will learn about the MHK’s Central Payment System that streamlines the payment process for both retail and supplier that is available to its members.

6. On Stands L100 and M100 Quooker will be showcasing its two new finishes across its Flex and Fusion ranges – Rose Copper, pictured, and Gunmetal. The new Front tap will also be on display, offering customers new ways of operating the tap with an ergonomic on-spout hot and cold-water lever alongside its full portfolio. The full Quooker team will be on hand to finalise applications for its new Premium Dealership Program launching in early 2024, as well as answering any other customer queries.


7. On Stand M113, Clearwater Products will showcase its innovative Twist and Spray Tap, pictured, that provides two flow types that can be changed with a simple twist of the flange. Alongside the industrial style Pioneer tap and a raft of new sinks and taps that will be introduced at the show.


8. On Stand J84, InSinkErator will be launching its Next Generation of food waste disposers. Visitors can expect to learn how advancements in technology help to provide a convenient, clean solution for managing food waste, with new models being more advanced than ever before. Professionals from the brand will be on hand to talk through key benefits and why the Next Generation of food waste disposers are ideal for forward-thinking kitchens. 


9. Rangemaster will be making its first appearance at the exhibition in 10 years on Stand J60, and will be showcasing its range cooker, sink and tap collections. A line-up of new range cooker families will be unveiled at the show – the first additions to its portfolio since the successful launch of NEXUS Steam in 2019 – as well as six new colours.   


10. On Stand S70, Häfele will be showcasing a range of legacy products including the Minifix connector system. In addition, there will be a chance to get hands-on with the new Flex Lighting System, pictured. Details will be revealed about a new range of appliances that will be coming to market and the team will be sharing more about Service+, a revamped range of services designed to add value from concept through to installation.


11. On Stands C90, C85, and B98 Blum is set to showcase its innovative pull-out shelf-lock ‘Space Step’ providing flexible solutions in all rooms in the home, from a temporary worktop space or handy step to make the most of high-level storage. Visitors will see a range of different living spaces ranging from the compact to open plan designs at the show.


12. On Stand Q90, Rotpunkt will display a combination of new products, including its new partnership between Rotpunkt and home fashion label, Buster + Punch displaying a series of new handle designs; Furniture Knob, T-Bar, pictured, and Pull-bar. Four complete kitchens, a utility room, walk-in dressing room, interior wall solutions and media unit will also be on the stand.


13. On Stand R70, Hettich will showcase their newly launched LightTower an illuminated tower unit larder storage concept which features hassle-free, no connection illumination and is based on the exceptional AvanTech YOU platform drawer system. There will also be exciting new design options revealed at the show.


14. On Stand M112, ASKO will highlight its environmentally friendly methods and practices. The key products on the stand will be the Style laundry range, pictured, which includes washing machine, tumble dryer, heat pump drying cabinet, wine climate cabinet, Craft built-in cven range including the unique 5-in-1 compact oven and DW60 dishwasher with 8 of the main components made of high quality stainless steel not plastic.
