Franke’s new cooker hood integrates storage, lighting and extraction

Franke has unveiled the latest addition to its cooker hood collection: the Maris Modular. This stylish and innovative design combines high-performance extraction with practical storage and lighting features, offering flexibility for kitchens large and small.

The Maris Modular's modular design allows for easy customisation tailored to users’ individual needs, whether it's installing the central 60cm hood module in compact kitchens or adding shelving units measuring 65 x 60 x 35cm each on one or both sides for additional storage in larger spaces. It features smoke-grey glass and matt black metal frames, adding a contemporary touch to any kitchen environment.

The hood offers powerful ventilation with a robust 620 m³/h performance in max speed and 720 m³/h in intensive mode, ensuring efficient removal of odours and smoke while cooking. It also offers an A class energy label, the flexibility for ducted or recirculatory installation and flush touch button controls.

One of the hood’s standout features is its integrated LED lighting system with dimmer function, offering an elegant kitchen ambiance or ensuring a well-lit worktop for precise cooking. The Maris Modular also gives the consumer the option to add convenient storage space with open shelves to one or both sides of the hood module - each individual element being illuminated with its own LED lighting bar.

Silvia Gamberoni, head of global category management hoods at Franke Home Solutions, commented: “We’re extremely proud of the Maris Modular, a modern-looking, flexible hood that will suit any kitchen, no matter the size or style. With its extra storage space, sleek aesthetics, cosy ambient illumination and highest ventilation standards, Maris Modular has it all to be the favourite element of any residential kitchen and satisfy the needs of any consumers.”
