IDS expands flooring portfolio with the addition of BerryAlloc LVT

BerryAlloc Pure luxury vinyl tile (LVT) is the latest addition to the IDS flooring portfolio. Fourteen tile and plank designs have been selected for the UK market and are available for 24-48 hour delivery nationwide with no minimum order quantity.

The range, which is suitable for a range of domestic and commercial applications, includes large-format tiles in greys, Terrazzo, metallics and fleck designs. Planks span the full spectrum of light, grey and dark woodgrains and offer a choice of rustic and smooth and refined finishes. Access to a further 24 décors is available on request for larger projects. The range is said to be hardwearing and durable, water resistant, compatible with water-piped underfloor heating systems and is R11 slip resistant. The range is also said to be eco-friendly, with 80% recyclable content and a lower carbon footprint due to the product being more lightweight and only being transported from Europe, where it is manufactured.

Installed using the DreamClick system, the range offers 360 degree multidirectional installation, allowing scope to create patterns and designs and the option of mixing and matching tiles and planks in the same flooring area with no transition strips. It offers a 0.55mm wear layer and has a lifetime residential warranty against defects and a 10-year commercial warranty. The Tile designs are available in 612 x 612 x 5mm squares while the Plank formats measure 1326 x 204 x 5mm.

Gail Alcock, product director for flooring at IDS, said: “BerryAlloc Pure is a welcome addition to the IDS flooring portfolio, particularly in the ever-growing LVT market. It offers a different dimension to the LVT that’s already in the UK marketplace, with multidirectional installation offering broad creative scope and a bonding process that makes it softer and more sound absorbent underfoot. BerryAlloc is leading the way in the LVT market for its strong environmental credentials and this is an increasingly important consideration in many markets, which will only add to its appeal.”
