Ripples has revealed that a group of its franchisees recently accompanied MD Paul Crow and the Ripples marketing team on a successful trip to the Dansani factory in Denmark. The trip was organised by Dansani’s UK sales team with a view to enabling the group to learn more about the brand's design principles, and give an enhanced understanding of its product range.
The group was welcomed by Dansani CEO Peter Juul, then chief design officer Rasmus Kjær shared the ideas behind Dansani's 4 core product ranges, and factory manager Finn Jensen talked them through the production processes during a factory tour. At the close of the day, sustainability project manager Thomas Winther spoke about the company's goals to become increasingly sustainable.
Franchisees from Bath/Bristol, Lindfield, Winchester, Beaconsfield/Wokingham, Chelmsford, Southport, Newbury, Bournemouth, Chichester, Truro, London and Tunbridge Wells attended. Ripples said that the insights gained into the sales and manufacturing processes will enable them to pass that knowledge over to their clients when they're specifying product for their projects.
Ripples MD Paul Crow said: “Our relationship with Dansani has always been a special one as the first thing we did when we met back in 2005 was create good connections with the team. Our relationship with Dansani, alongside its continued commitment to make great product, has culminated in a successful partnership which I feel will only go from strength to strength.”
