Grohe survey reveals consumer priorities when buying a shower system

In an international survey, Grohe asked 2,500 people in 5 European countries – Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands – to answer the question: What is important for consumers when looking for a new shower system?.

The survey revealed that 77% of consumers are looking for quality as the priority when buying a shower system. The next key sales argument was price, with 64% of respondents citing this as a driver for choosing a product. Next came the features that a product offers, with 52% saying that this was a motivation. In joint place at the bottom of the list of priorities was sustainability and design, with 31% saying that sustainability was a reason for them purchasing a particular product, and 31% saying that design was.

Grohe said that the outcomes of the survey explain the reason that its Tempesta 110 is such a popular product. The company said: 'The Grohe Tempesta 110 ticks all the boxes. This affordable bestseller comes with additional features such as ShockProof – a silicone ring that prevents damage if the hand shower is dropped.'

As well as a host of special features, it is also equipped with the water-saving technology, Grohe EcoJoy, which not only saves water but also money.

Grohe added: 'As an all-in-one solution, it provides the perfect match in form and function for an attractive and seamless consultation and hassle-free installation – making it the ideal choice for both installer and consumer.'
