Haier is celebrating 40 years in business, and marked the occasion with a celebration in Qingdao, China, its birthplace, embracing the theme: 'Evolution Begins with Connection, Ecosystems Know No Boundaries'.

From its humble beginnings as a small refrigerator factory in Qingdao in 1984, Haier has become one of the most influential brands in the world, holding the No.1 position in Euromonitor's Global Major Appliances Brand Rankings for 16 consecutive years. The company says its evolution has been driven by groundbreaking management practices, technological innovation, strategic acquisitions, and a focus on consumer needs. Today, Haier serves customers in more than 160 countries and regions with a diverse portfolio of products, scenarios, and ecosystems designed to enrich everyday lives.
