Bathroom panelling brand Showerwall has reshaped its sales leadership team as it 'anticipates an exciting year ahead'. Following on from the company’s acquisition by Bathroom Brands Group last year, Showerwall is also recruiting new area sales managers to support customers across the UK.
The new structure sees Gareth Griffiths, pictured left, head up the national trade sales team, Daniel Clapham, pictured right, take on an area sales manager role in the North and Mark Devanney, centre, working in the role of head of contract sales. Further area sales managers are currently being recruited.
The trio have more than five decades of combined experience and are looking to develop new and existing relationships as the wall panelling market continues to evolve and grow in a difficult market.
Backed by Showerwall’s internal customer service function, the team are looking to reconnect with Showerwall retailer and merchant customers after the collapse of IDS last year, which led to the purchase of the brand by Bathroom Brands Group.
Gareth Griffiths said: “Showerwall is very much still here and is stronger than ever, as part of Bathroom Brands Group. We’re investing in a new sales team, new products and the service we give to customers. In a challenging marketplace, wall panelling is bucking the trend and experiencing growth as a category, thanks to being a low-maintenance product that is faster and more affordable to install than tiles. Our design-led ranges continue to offer an extensive choice to installers and homeowners, and we’re ready to support our customers in fresh and exciting ways.”
Bathroom Brands Group has a stated strategy to build a portfolio of design-led brands, which provide complete bathroom interiors solutions, with Showerwall now sitting alongside Crosswater, Burlington, Britton and Clearwater Interiors.
