The LIXIL Corporation has announced the appointment of Thomas Schachner as its new leader LIXIL Europe, which is effective from 1st April 2025. Schachner succeeds Bijoy Mohan in his interim leadership of the region since August 2023. Bijoy Mohan will now fully focus on his role as Leader LIXIL International again.

Thomas has been with the company for 15 years and will bring the necessary continuity and know-how to our business in the region. He will continue to deliver real added value to our customers and professional partners while solidifying the foundation for further growth in a challenging and changing market environment,” said Bijoy Mohan.
During his time as interim leader for the European region, Mohan has successfully restructured the business in the region. With a refined approach to individual target groups and a differentiated offering with the Grohe brand the region has recently returned to a growth trajectory despite a difficult market environment. He will continue his role of leader, LIXIL International, steering the organisation’s portfolio of brands across all LIXIL markets outside Japan, as Schachner assumes the role of leader for the Europe region.

Schachner joined Grohe back in 2010 and has held various positions in the organisation, including the leadership for LIXIL’s business in Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean. Most recently, Schachner served as leader supply chain management for the EMENA region.
