The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) has announced Mark Conacher as the latest addition to the institute’s Strategic Advisory Board.
Conacher joins as executive advisor and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience following almost 4 decades in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom sector – from starting as a joinery apprentice at just 15 years old, to building and growing one of the UK’s most prominent, award-winning KBB installation businesses. Currently MD of Senstec USA and based in Vancouver, Conacher will offer a unique insight and viewpoint to support BiKBBI’s decision making and development.
As the only organisation of its type focused on KBB installation, BiKBBI supports registered businesses and the wider KBB industry through its work on education, standards, compliance and sustainability. The institute works closely with all areas of the sector to drive positive change in the areas most critical to success. BiKBBI has a wide network of sponsors, partners and supporters including its Strategic Advisory Board, the role of which is to provide insight, guidance and balance to decision-making and the direction of the institute, ensuring that the organisation remains at the forefront of industry developments and continues to provide unparalleled support to its partners.
BiKBBI CEO Damian Walters commented “We are delighted to formalise our relationship with Mark. For many years he has been a champion of BiKBBI and our work in the sector, contributing to initiatives we have delivered over the years. Knowing Mark as I do, I am certain his contribution will be invaluable and he will be a sound representation of installation business owners and installers, challenging the organisation in its role of improving industry standards here in the UK.”
Conacher joins fellow BiKBBI executive advisors Yvonne Orgill and Billy Quinn, with further announcements planned in the coming weeks.
