Egyptian sanitaryware brand Whiteville Ceramics is set to enter the UK market on 1st April, with Whiteville Ceramics UK now part of the Imperial Bathrooms portfolio.
The company's contemporary-style products are made by the Ceramica Cleopatra Group, which has manufacturing facilities just outside Cairo, and designed in Italy by David E. Michaud, Luca Cimarra and Nilo Gioacchini.
At the beginning of the year, Imperial Bathrooms MD Graham Bucktrout revealed to KBBFocus that the addition of the Whiteville Ceramics UK brand to its offering was part of a bid to broaden its appeal to a wider clientele. He said: “We can go to the market with two clear, different messages and can offer our customers a much wider portfolio of products. We will also be looking to add other brands to be able to stream even wider.”
Whiteville Ceramics collections include the Wing, Continental, Smart, Onda and Delta designs, which are each said to feature their own design elements and style identities. The final collection, Furniture, is a series of modular bathroom storage options in a modern style, which have been created to complement each range in the Whiteville portfolio.
