Beggs & Partners acquires Just Add Water showrooms following Fayers administration

Beggs & Partners has announced the acquisition of the Just Add Water bathroom showrooms in Barnet and Buckhurst Hill, together with the business assets of the former Fayers Plumbing & Building Supplies operations at both locations.

Family-owned merchant group Beggs & Partners was founded in 1960 in Belfast. The business now boasts 13 branches and 4 divisions; trade, retail, commercial heating and contract sanitaryware. The acquisition strengthens Beggs & Partners' position as a leading independent plumbing, heating and bathroom specialist serving both trade and retail customers across the UK.

Neil Bleakly, group MD of Beggs & Partners, pictured, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Just Add Water team and customers into the Beggs & Partners family. The showrooms have built an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and customer care, values that align perfectly with our own.”

He added that the expansion would strengthen the company’s ability to serve customers across the South East while maintaining local expertise and personal service.

Beggs & Partners said customers can expect “the same high-quality experience”, supported by the group’s purchasing power, logistics network and wider resources.

The company also confirmed that it plans to invest significantly in the acquired locations, including refurbishment of the trade counters and showroom environments, with a particular focus on expanding the Instinct bathroom offering available through the PHG Buying Group.

Beggs & Partners thanked customers, suppliers and staff for their continued support and said it looks forward to building on the strong reputation established by the Just Add Water brand.
